Enlisted applicants, called for online admission process for admission in the 1st Year Honours Courses of the Session 2015-2016 in Hooghly Mohsin College are directed to follow the guidelines from annexure -I.

The schedule for UG online admission in B.A./ B.Sc. /B.Com (Hons. & Gen.) Courses: (for the academic session 2015-16)

27/06 (Sat) to 30/06 (Tue) Payment of requisite admission fees within banking hours at IDBI BANK, Chinsurah Branch in offline
02/07(Thu) – 03/07(Fri)

11.00-4.00PM

At Room No. : Science Library

#Verification of testimonials of provisionally admitted applicants. Applicants should come with downloaded Filled in forms, Admission Acceptance form, challan for the deposited admission fees and testimonials to HMC for FINAL Admission (provisional).

ADMISSION GUIDELINES FOR APPLICANTS

 

To get admission in the preferred honours subject, applicants have to click on the Accept Button besides his/her name and download the Admission Acceptance form and challan. Before verification procedure at Hooghly Mohsin College, applicants have to deposit requisite admission fees prescribed in the challan to the IDBI BANK, Chinsurah Branch, near Chinsurah Bus stand in offline within the stipulated time. If any applicant clicks Accept buttons of multiple subjects in that case his/her last option will be accepted automatically. As no button or option is locked so, applicant gets chances to click on the same accept button multiple times, if he/she loses his/her challan and admission acceptance form. His/her other options are kept open for second choise. At the end of the stipulated time, the accept button will become deactivated.

# Original Documents and its photocopy (self attested ) to be produced at the time of verification of testimonials in College Admission:

 

  • Original Marks-sheet of (10+2) level examination and its photocopy
  • Original School leaving certificate from the head of the institution last attended (non – returnable)\
  • Age proof document (admit card /certificate of secondary examination or birth certificate ) and its photocopy
  • Two copies of recent passport size and one stamp size photograph (unattested)
  • Receipt of downloaded filled-in-form and Admission Acceptance form duly signed by the applicant and paid challan of requisite fees at IDBI BANK, Chinsurah Branch (non refundable )
  • Applicants already admitted in any other institution have to produce Transfer Certificate within 10 days from the date of verification
  • Original SC / ST/ OBC-A & B / PH certificate and its photocopy

(Certificate should be issued by either MP or MLA or member of Zilla

Parishad or Municipal Councilor or Municipal Commissioner or Group

“A” Officer of the State Government in the name of the Candidate.

SC/ST /OBC certificate in the name other than the candidate’s name

will not be accepted. PH certificate should be issued by the competent

authority)

Admission of a candidate is strictly provisional and subject to subsequent cancellation in case of occurrence of any intentional or unintentional error and concealment of fact/s.

##   Students passed from Boards/Council other than West Bengal, will have to pay Migrating Fees.

Students need not pay Fees more than once, in case of change in Honours subject within the same stream, but have to pay excess amount of fees if required in the case of stream change.

 

 

APPLICANTS WHO HAVE NOT BEEN SELECTED IN THE 1ST PHASE ARE DIRECTED TO FOLLOW THE NEXT NOTIFICATION ON 04.07.2015 AT 10.00 AM.
