| It is notified that college prospectus along with application forms for admission to 1st Year Degree Courses for the session 2008-2009 will be sold at the cost of Rs 20/- (twenty) only and the duly completed forms will be received in the college office according to the following schedule. |

| 05/06/2008 (Thursday) from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. |

| 2. Date of receiving the duly completed forms: |

| 03/06/2008 (Tuesday) from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. |
|
| 04/06/2008 (Wednesday) from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. |
|
| 05/06/2008 (Thursday) from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. and |
|
| 06/06/2008 (Friday) from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. |
|
| |
|
| 3. No application form will be received after 04 P.M. on 06/06/2008 (Friday) under any circumstances. |

| 4. Date of Publication of provisional Merit List : 19/06/2008 (Thursday) at 3 P.M. |
| |
| 5. Original Marksheet should be produced at the time of issuing Admission forms. |

| In terms of the resolution adopted in the meeting of the Admission Committee on 30-04-2008, the following criteria for receiving Application forms for admission to the first Year Degree Courses for the academic session 2008-2009 has been fixed as follows: |

| 1. Bengali/English/Pol.Science/Philosophy/Sanskrit: |
Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and subject |
| |
|
| 2.Urdu/History |
Minimum 45% marks in aggregate and subject |
| |
|
| 3. Economics |
Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and subject with pass mark in Mathematics. |
| |
|
| B.Sc. Honours |
|
| |
|
| 1. Physics |
Minimum 60% marks in aggregate and subject with 55% marks in Mathematics. |
| |
|
| 2. Chemistry |
Minimum 60% marks in aggregate and subject with 40% marks in Mathematics. |
| |
|
| 3. Mathematics |
Minimum 60% marks in aggregate and subject |
| |
|
| 4. Botany / Physiology / Zoology |
Minimum 60% marks in aggregate and subject with pass marks in Chemistry. |
